Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an engine with a turbocharger capable of reducing deterioration of durability due to thermal fatigue, for components constituting a turbocharger.SOLUTION: A controller configured to control an engine with a turbocharger is configured to: calculate a turbocharging pressure limit value from a compressor 22 based on a temperature rise amount of compressor exhaust generated by adiabatic compression work from the compressor 22 at the time when the compressor 22 is operated by the turbine 20, and a temperature rise amount of the compressor exhaust generated by work other than the compression work from the compressor 22; and control turbocharging pressure of the compressor 22 of a turbocharger 24 with the turbocharging pressure limit value as an upper limit pressure value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
