To provide a simply constructed engine cooling device, which is provided with a cooling water circulation path for circulating cooling water to cool each optional portion in an engine and EGR gas of an EGR device, and configured in such a manner that cooling water flowing into a thermostat case is circulated through a water jacket of the engine without passing through a radiator when its temperature is below a predetermined temperature.

The engine cooling device 1 includes: a radiator-side cooling water circulation path 11 for circulating cooling water in such a manner that it leaves a pump 23, enters the water jacket 21, enters the thermostat case 30, enters the radiator 40, and then enters the pump 23; and an EGR cooler-side cooling water circulation path 12 for circulating cooling water in such a manner that it leaves the pump 23, enters the water jacket 21, enters an EGR cooler 51, and then enters the pump 23. When the temperature of the cooling water entering the thermostat case 30 is below the predetermined temperature, the cooling water is circulated through the EGR cooler-side cooling water circulation path 12.
