Abstract:
To provide an engine crank angle detection device capable of improving detection accuracy through improving accuracy of relative positioning in a rotation direction between a pulse rotating body and a rotating shaft fitted thereinto.SOLUTION: An engine crank angle detection device comprises: a pulse rotating body 5 driven and rotated through a crank shaft 2; and a pulse detector 14 arranged opposite and close to an outer peripheral face of the pulse rotating body 5. A rotating shaft j is fitted into the pulse rotating body 5 so as to be integrally rotated along with a positioning mechanism a which determines a relative angle position between the rotating shaft j and the pulse rotation body 5 around a shaft line of the rotating shaft j. In the positioning mechanism a, the rotating shaft j or a side wall 3s of a rotating body 3 with the rotating shaft j fitted thereinto so as to be integrally rotated is subject to direct concave-convex engagement with a side wall 5s of the pulse rotating body 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
