Abstract:
To provide an engine cylinder capable of effectively suppressing occurrence of a section where compression residual stress is markedly reduced on an internal wall by vertical movement of a piston for many hours to prevent wear of the internal wall advantageously.
Compression residual stress is given to a surface layer part of the internal wall by making it different partially in the engine cylinder casted by Al-Si alloy.
