Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spread vertical airflow generated by a cooling fan into an engine body while inhibiting fluctuations of a space between an ignition coil and a magnet in an engine device of a portable work machine.SOLUTION: In an engine device 4, multiple boss parts 80 are formed on an outer surface of a cylinder part 53 of an engine body 21 so as to protrude to the outer side relative to multiple fin parts 56 and an ignition coil 31 is attached to the multiple boss parts 80. The structure forms a space between the ignition coil 31 and the multiple fin parts 56 of the engine body 21 and flows vertical airflow FL generated by a cooling fan 27 to which a magnet 30 is attached.
