A water-cooling radiator 134 of an engine 70, and a cooling fan 76 for cooling the engine 70 and a radiator 144, are provided on one side of the engine 70 arranged under a maneuvering seat 128 in a traveling machine body 124. An exhaust emission control device 1 for purifying exhaust gas is arranged under the radiator 144 and the cooling fan 76. The radiator 134 and the cooling fan 76 are positioned in a high position near a counterweight 131 between the maneuvering seat 128 and the counterweight 131, the exhaust emission control device 1 is connected to engine leg installing parts 82 of the engine 70 via filter support bodies 19, and thereby, the exhaust emission control device 1 is positioned so as to be opposed to an oil pan 81 arranged on the under surface side of the engine 70 under the radiator 134 and the cooling fan 76.
