Title:
ENGINE-DRIVEN GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62233422
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase support rigidity and reduce vibration, by connecting opposite ends of a flywheel housing between an engine and a generator to the engine and the generator, respectively and mounting the flywheel housing to a mounting base plate through a support bracket.

CONSTITUTION: When a generator 2 is directly coupled with the rear of an engine 1, both the front sides of the engine 1 and both the rear sides of the generator 2 are mounted on a mounting base plate 7 not shown through a mount rubber 6 or the like. A flywheel 3 is disposed between the engine 1 and the generator 2 to take out the rotational power of the engine 1. In this case, a flywheel housing 4 is disposed around the flywheel 3 with one end of it connected to the engine 1 and the other end connected to the generator 2. The housing 4 is mounted on the mounting base plate 7 through a support bracket 5 mounted on both the sides of a circumferential wall and the mount rubber 6.
