To provide an inexpensive engine driven heat pump device easy to install while requiring a smaller installation space.
A generator 3 and a compressor 4 are connected in linkage to an engine 1. An outdoor side heat exchanger 6 and a cooling device 7 are connected to a refrigerant circuit 5 in which the compressor 4 is provided. A cooling water pump 9 and an engine cooling heat exchanger 10 are mounted in a circulation pipe 8 in which engine cooling water is circulated, and an adsorption refrigerator 13 is connected thereto. A refrigerant cooling heat exchanger 14 is mounted in the refrigerant circuit 5 for cooling refrigerant from the compressor 4 with cold obtained by the adsorption refrigerator 13. To the adsorption refrigerator 13, an adsorption refrigerator cooling heat exchanger 29 is connected for cooling adsorption refrigerant. The engine 1, the compressor 4, the outdoor side heat exchanger 6, the engine cooling heat exchanger 10, the adsorption refrigerator 13 and the adsorption refrigerator cooling heat exchanger 29 are provided in one housing 32.
