To provide an engine device capable of arranging an exhaust gas purifying filter 1 as one of constituent components of the engine 70 in the engine 70 very rigidly, dispensing with countermeasures against exhaust emission per equipment such as a vehicle or the like, and improving general versatility of the engine 70.
This engine device is provided with the diesel engine 70 having an exhaust manifold 71 and an exhaust emission control device 1 for purifying the exhaust gas discharged by the diesel engine 70. A cylinder head 72 of the diesel engine 70 is provided with a plurality of filter supporting bodies 19a-19c supporting the exhaust emission control device 1. The exhaust emission control device 1 is connected with the exhaust manifold 71 and is connected with the cylinder head 72 through a plurality of filter supporting bodies 19a-19c.
