Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device having a function to contribute to warming-up operation at cold start of an engine and contribute to modification of exhaust gas after a temperature is stabilized.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation device 1 includes: a heat transfer flow passage 11 passing through a cylinder block 101; an exhaust introduction pipe 12 connected to an exhaust pipe 105 to communicate the exhaust pipe 105 with the heat transfer flow passage 11; an exhaust bypass 14 connected to the exhaust pipe to communicate the exhaust pipe 105 with an intake pipe 106; an exhaust leading-out pipe 13 for communicating the heat transfer flow passage 11 with the exhaust bypass 14; a shutter 15 installed in a branch portion 105A in which the exhaust introduction pipe 12 and the exhaust bypass 14 communicate with the exhaust pipe 105; a three-way valve 16 disposed in a merged portion 14a with which the exhaust leading-out pipe 13 merges in the middle of the exhaust bypass 14; and a control section 17 for switching the shutter 15 and the three-way valve 16 in accordance with an operating state of the engine 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
