Abstract:

To previously prevent a situation causing starting failure and deterioration of combustion properties, by preventing fuel supply from an inter-cylinder feeder to a combustion chamber under a condition that pressure of compressed air discharged from a compressor when an engine is started is predicted that it can not be adjusted constantly and is low.

A compressed air feeder 10 is so formed that it is equipped with a compressor 11 driven during an engine is operated and holding means (regulator 14) by which pressure of compressed air discharged from the compressor 11 is constantly maintained so as not to exceed a set value. Also, fuel supply condition control means by which only a feeder 50 in an intake pass is operated until set time is passed from the starting period of an engine 30, and the operation of only an inter-cylinder feeder 40 is gradually changed over from the operation of only the feeder 50 in the intake pass after the set time is passed so that a fuel injection allocation rate by the inter-cylinder feeder 40 is gradually increased at transient times, is arranged in operation control means 60.
