Abstract:
To suppress the accumulation of deposits on the distal end of a fuel injection valve in a cylinder direct injection spark ignition type engine right after continuous high load operation.
In the condition of low load operation right after continuous high load operation, an increase in target idling speed, twice injection in one stroke, change-over to a homogeneous combustion mode, the prohibition of speed reduction fuel-cut are performed only for a preset period. Thus, the distal-end temperature of the fuel injection valve is quickly reduced by cooling with fuel to suppress the accumulation of deposits on the distal end of the injection valve.
