To provide an engine fuel injection valve and an installation method for a leak pipe of the engine fuel injection valve, capable of attaching a leak pipe member onto the fuel injection valve body easily, simply and accurately.
This fuel injection valve 1 is used for the engine which has a common rail type fuel injection apparatus and is fixed with a leak pipe member 20 on the upper end side through a clip member 30. This fuel injection valve 1 also includes the leak pipe member 20 fixed on a fuel injection valve body 10 by engaging a pawl-like engagement portion 33 on the tip side of a leg 32 of the clip member 30 formed into a gantry type, with a slot 12 provided on a fuel injection valve body 10. With this constitution, temporarily holding parts 25, 26 and 27 which can temporarily hold the clip member 30 are provided for the leak pipe member 20.
