Abstract:
To effectively protect fuel system members at the time of collision of a vehicle.
This engine fuel system protecting device includes a protector 9 covering the circumference of a fuel injection device 5 arranged in a space between a side wall 2 of an engine body and a curved resin intake manifold 3 connected to the side wall 2 of the engine body. A rib is formed on the intake manifold 3 to abut the protector 9 so as to restrict the deformation of the protector 9 when the protector 9 is deformed to be curled upward toward an engine body side.
