Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool an engine body, a generator, and an exhaust system of an engine in an engine generator equipped with the engine having a crankshaft arranged in a direction of a vertical axis.SOLUTION: An engine generator 10 includes an engine 12 having a crankshaft 12b arranged in a direction of a vertical axis, and a generator 14 disposed beneath the engine in the direction of the vertical axis and having a rotor 14a fastened to the crankshaft. The engine generator 10 further includes an exhaust system disposed in an upper side in the direction of the vertical axis and discharging exhaust gas of the engine to the outside from the upper side, a shroud 22 formed in an almost skirt shape and having an internal space 22e so that the exhaust system and the engine are housed in the internal space, and an intake duct 20 arranged beneath the shroud in the direction of the vertical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
