Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact engine generator capable of providing a high noise insulating effect and cooling a generator, together with an engine, and a muffler efficiently.
SOLUTION: In an engine generator, housing an engine 30 and a generator 35 driven by the engine 30 in a noise insulating case by aligning in the direction of a rotary shaft, the generator 35, the engine 30 and a muffler 32 are aligned in this order, and covered by ducts 7, 8 and 16 so as to separate them from the other apparatuses is the noise insulating case. And the generator side ends of the ducts 7, 8 and 16 are opened inside the noise insulating case, while the muffler side ends of the ducts 7, 8 and 16 are opened at the outer part of the noise insulating case, and the air in the noise insulating case is sucked from the generator side opening of the ducts 7, 8 and 16, into the ducts by a cooling fan 40 driven by the engine 30, and after the air cools the generator 35, the engine 30 and the muffler 32, it is exhausted to the outer side from the muffler side openings of the ducts 7, 8 and 16.
