Title:
ENGINE IDLING SPEED CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3414159
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stopping property and fuel consumption economy of a vehicle during short-time parking or in a state of waiting for starting at an intersection, and also improve derivability for putting the vehicle into a garage and following up a front car.
SOLUTION: A target engine speed NT at the time of idling is calculated by calculation means 31 according to an operation condition of an engine. An engine idling speed is feedback-controlled by, idle speed feed back control means 32 by the use of torque control means according to deviation in respect to the target engine speed NT such that an engine speed NE is converged to be the target engine speed NT at the time of idling. A target engine speed reduction means 34 reduces the target engine speed in the case that a vehicle is stopped, an automatic transmission is in a running range and braking is applied, while does not reduce the target engine speed in the case that the vehicle runs, the automatic transmission is in a running range and braking is applied.
