Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase succeeding possibility in self start of an engine for effectively appreciating the consequent rapid starting, energy saving, improvement in a feeling of starting the engine or the like.
SOLUTION: A fuel is supplied into a cylinder, which is detected to be in an expanding process by a crank angle sensor, cam angle sensor or the like to be combusted therein for trying the self start of the engine by making use of its combustion pressure. The starting status of the engine is stored in a memory. In addition, the status of generating the combustion pressure is changed according to past starting statuses stored in the memory, for example, by changing the cylinder to be controlled for self start.
