Abstract:
To provide an engine for a motorcycle capable of lowering a gravity center position of a car body of the motorcycle.
A generator 21 is arranged in the rear vicinity of a crankshaft 2. A driven side gear 31 positioned on the same axis as a rotor 32, is connected to one end surface in the shaft direction of the rotor 32 of this generator 21 so as to interlock with the rotor 32. A driving side gear arranged on the crankshaft 2 is meshed with this driven side gear 31. A starter motor 63 is interlocked with and connected to the driven side gear 31.
