PURPOSE: To inexpensively manufacture an engine mount device with a simple constitution by enclosing non-magnetic fluid in a first main chamber and first sub-chamber, enclosing a sufficient amount of magnetic fluid to give a predetermined vibration attenuating amount in a second main chamber and second sub-chamber and providing in an orifice a magnetic field generating means capable of adjusting the magnetic field intensity.
CONSTITUTION: A space 20 is defined into an upper stage main chamber 24, an intermediate stage sub-chamber 25 and a lower stage air chamber 26 by a first partition wall member 22 and a second partition wall member 23. The main chamber 24 communicates to a first main chamber 24a and orifice 42 by a flexible partition wall section 13b and is defined by a second main chamber 24b. The sub-chamber 25 communicates to a first sub-chamber 25a and orifice 42 by a flexible third partition wall member 27 and is defined by a second sub-chamber 25b. Antifreezing solution 30 is enclosed in the first main chamber 24a and first sub-chamber 25a. Magnetic fluid 31 containing water as solvent and dispersed ferrite grains is enclosed in the second main chamber 24b and second sub-chamber 25b, and air is enclosed in an air chamber 26. A voltage applying device 47 is connected to a coil 44 by a control signal from a controller 48 and optimum exciting current is supplied to controllers 43, 44.
