Abstract:
To set the engine speed at a desired engine speed level to enable the engine speed to be temporarily increased or decreased when necessary.
A control device 10 for maintaining an engine having a throttle linkage cable 18 at a desired speed, is provided with a rack 16 for moving the throttle linkage cable 18, a collar 40 provided to be engaged with the rack 16, the first spring 36 for energizing the collar so that the engagement of the collar 40 with the rack 16 is released, a solenoid 14 with an armature, for energizing the collar 40 when it is energized so that the collar engages with the rack 16, and the second spring for energizing the collar 40 at a specified position.
