PURPOSE: To provide an engine start-stop system that selects a stop lever, opening or closing a fuel feeding port to an engine by way of operating a hydraulic cylinder with hydraulic pressure out of a hydraulic pump being connected to the engine, and performs it by way of selecting an oil passage with a solenoid valve being connected to the hydraulic cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of stopping, a holding relay 5R of a stop relay 3 is operated by a pushbutton switch 5. A contact (a) of the holding relay 5R and another contact of a charging relay 14R feeding a current to an engine regulator 2 both are lined up in series so as to have the stop relay 3 self-held even if unhanding the pushbutton switch 5, and this series circuit is situated in parallel with a circuit of the pushbutton switch 5. When an engine is stopped, a self-holding circuit is automatically released, thus the next restarting is made achievable.
