Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make starting or normal operation of an engine possible in the case that an automatic choke system does not function.
CONSTITUTION: In an engine starting control device, a plurality of choke valves are connected with each other through levers 6A to 6D and choke rods 7 to 9. In addition, an actuator (opening regulation means) 22 and a choke solenoid (driving means) 14 are included. In such a device, a hook 31 is arranged for hanging the choke rod 7 which is separated from the lever 6A. In the case that an automatic choke system does not function and the choke valves are kept closed, engine starting is enabled. The choke rod 7 is separated from the lever 6A after starting the engine, the choke valves are fully opened. Engine starting thereafter is thus enabled. When the choke valves are kept opened, the choke valves are fully closed after the actuator 22 is demounted. Same operations are repeated hereinafter.
