Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent vibration of an engine by suppressing fluctuation of torque occurring in stopping the engine.SOLUTION: An engine stopping device includes: a vacuum tank 1 connected with an intake manifold 11 of an engine 10; a vacuum pump 2 driven in operating the engine and bringing the vacuum tank 1 into a vacuum state; an opening/closing valve 3 disposed on a connecting portion of an intake system and the vacuum tank 1; and an ECU 20 for controlling fuel injection of the engine 10 and the opening/closing of the opening/closing valve 3. The ECU 20 closes the opening/closing valve 3 in operating the engine 10, and stops the fuel injection of the engine 10, and opens the opening/closing valve 3 to make the air in the intake system received in the vacuum tank 2 in a vacuum state, in stopping the engine 10.
