Abstract:
To provide an engine intake/exhaust structure capable of suppressing the worsening of fuel efficiency by suppressing the degradation of the recovery efficiency of exhaust energy even in a high speed operation region of an engine.SOLUTION: To solve the issue, an engine intake/exhaust structure 100 includes a first exhaust pipe 101, a second exhaust pipe 102 installed in parallel with the first exhaust pipe 101, an intake pipe 103, a first turbine 104 installed midway through the first exhaust pipe 101, a first compressor 105 installed midway through the intake pipe 103 and adapted to be driven by the kinetic energy of the first turbine 104, a throttle valve 106 installed midway through the second exhaust pipe 102, a controller 107 for controlling the opening of the throttle valve 106, and an exhaust energy recovery mechanism 109 for recovering the exhaust energy of exhaust gas to be discharged through the second exhaust pipe 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
