Abstract:
To provide an engine system capable of suppressing generation of nitrogen oxides and/or suppressing uncombusted hydrocarbons from remaining.SOLUTION: An engine system 100 has a combustion chamber 71 to which air and a gas fuel are supplied, and is configured to combust the gas fuel. The engine system 100 includes a liquid fuel injecting unit 66, and a control unit 211. The liquid fuel injecting unit 66 is configured to inject a liquid fuel thereby to ignite the gas fuel. The control unit 211 is configured to control the liquid fuel injecting unit 66. The control unit 211 is configured to control the liquid fuel injecting unit 66 so that injection of the liquid fuel is performed after completion of flame propagation after ignition of the gas fuel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
