Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably prevent misfire of an engine caused by effects of residual EGR gas by using both of an electronic throttle device and a fresh air introduction valve during deceleration of the engine.SOLUTION: An engine system includes an engine 1 with a supercharger 5, an electronic throttle device 6, a low-pressure loop type EGR device 21 including an EGR valve 23, a fresh air introduction device and an electronic control device (ECU) 50. The fresh air introduction device includes a fresh air introduction passage 31 and a fresh air introduction valve 32 for introducing fresh air to an intake passage 2 downstream of the electronic throttle device 6. The electronic throttle device 6 is constituted by a DC motor method, and the fresh air introduction valve 32 is constituted by a stepping motor method. When determining deceleration of the engine 1, the ECU 50 performs fully-closing control of the EGR valve 23 and valve opening control of the fresh air introduction valve 32 to a predetermined opening, and performs valve closing control of the electronic throttle device 6 to a predetermined opening, so as to adjust total intake air amount to be introduced to the engine 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
