Abstract:
To provide an engine system capable of early starting a reforming section while securing reforming performance of the reforming section regardless of a state of an ambient environment.SOLUTION: An engine system 1 includes: a reforming section 18 generating reformed gas containing hydrogen by reforming ammonia gas; an electric heater 19 heating the reforming section 18; a temperature sensor 20 detecting a temperature of an ambient environment; an air-fuel ratio setting section 24 setting an air-fuel ratio of the reforming section 18 corresponding to the temperature of the ambient environment detected by the temperature sensor 20; and a start control section 25 controlling a starter 7, a main throttle valve 6, a main injector 5, a sub-throttle valve 13 and a sub-injector 14 at start of an ammonia engine 2. The start control section 25 controls the sub-throttle valve 13 and the sub-injector 14 in accordance with the air-fuel ratio of the reforming section 18 set by the air-fuel ratio setting section 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
