To provide an engine system, firstly, to be stably operated without trouble even when using a product gas having a low heating value as a fuel gas and, secondly, of simple structure to be obtained at low cost.
This engine system 1 uses fuel gas A, and an engine is formed of a rotary engine 4, and includes a supercharger 5. The fuel gas A is composed of a product gas obtained by heating, vaporizing and reforming wood biomass B, VOC, waste cooking oil, and other hydrocarbon group compound and including at least hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The supercharger 5 is provided with an intercooler 6, and an adjacently provided generator 7 is connected to a main spindle of the rotary engine 4. After the fuel gas A and air C are mixed in a mixing unit 8, they are compressed by the supercharger 5, and supplied into a housing 9 of the rotary engine 4.
