To inhibit such a state that alcohol fuel adheres to the intake pipe of an engine and the peripheral member thereof and, as result, the alcohol fuel is not supplied into a cylinder, in an engine system using hydrocarbon fuel and alcohol fuel as fuel for the engine.
A temperature control device 28 controls temperature of ethanol water supplied from an ethanol water tank 22 so that the ethanol water supplied into the intake pipe 20 evaporates. When the ethanol water is sprayed and supplied into the intake pipe 20 in the form of fine liquid particles, the temperature control device 28 controls the temperature of the ethanol water supplied to an ethanol injector 26 to ≥65°C. Thereby, ethanol water spray injected from the ethanol injector 26 into the intake pipe 20 is almost completely evaporated and supplied into a cylinder 11.
