Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of parts such as a battery and a plug for starting and to facilitate a starting operation by fixing the cylinder capacity of the cylinder of a diesel engine for a small-sized toy and adjusting and fixing the needle of the diesel engine beforehand. CONSTITUTION: By eliminating a means for adjusting the cylinder capacity of the cylinder 1a of the diesel engine 1, the cylinder capacity is fixed, that is the adjustment of a compression ratio is eliminated. Also, the size of the cylinder capacity is taken slightly larger than the capacity at the time of obtaining an optimum operation state and is provided with width and influence by compression ratio change is reduced. The needle 8 for adjusting the amount of fuel sent from a fuel supply device 4 is adjusted beforehand in the stage of the trial operation before incorporating the diesel engine 1 in this toy and is fixed to the adjustment position and the adjustment is made impossible in the stage of playing by making the traveling toy travel. Since the need of adjusting the compression ratio and adjusting a fuel supply amount by the needle is eliminated, the toy can easily and simply operated.
