Abstract:
To provide an engine type industrial vehicle in which an amount of chemical substances contained in air supplied to an engine and causing corrosion of the engine can be reduced to be lower than an amount of chemical substances contained in air in a use environment.SOLUTION: An engine type industrial vehicle includes: a vehicle body; an engine mounted to the vehicle body; a rear pillar 29 which is disposed in the vehicle body, and supports a head guard 27 disposed above a driver's seat; an air introduction port 31 formed in the rear pillar 29; and an intake path which is formed inside the rear pillar to guide the air introduced from the air introduction port 31 to the engine. In the engine type industrial vehicle, an active carbon filter material 35, as a chemical substance adsorbent which adsorbs chemical substances causing corrosion of the engine, is arranged along a longitudinal direction of the rear pillar 29 in the intake path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
