To provide an engine equipped with a supercharger with its downsizing, minimizing its installation space, realizing high efficiency, thus simplifying its constitution/structure.
This engine includes: an exhaust manifold (502) extending from the engine (150); a high-pressure turbocharger (42) in which an inlet of a turbine is connected to the manifold; an elbow pipe (501) of which one end is connected to an outlet of the turbine of the high-pressure turbocharger; a low-pressure turbocharger mounting portion (520) which is connected to the other end of the elbow pipe, formed with an exhaust circulation port for circulating exhaust gas and is integrally formed with the exhaust manifold; a low-pressure turbocharger (41) in which the inlet of the turbine is connected to the exhaust circulation port and which is placed on the low-pressure turbocharger mounting portion; a high-pressure bypass pipe (174) which is connected to the elbow pipe extending from the exhaust manifold; and a valve which circulates or inhibits exhaust gas in the high-pressure turbocharger bypass pipe.
