Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power system component from breaking due to incorrect operation which increases the rotation speed of an engine in a braking state in which a brake mechanism is actuated.SOLUTION: An engine work machine comprises: an engine; a throttle lever 10 for adjusting the rotation speed of the engine; a sprocket 2 driven by the engine; a saw chain 4 actuated by the sprocket; and a brake handle 10 which is brake means for applying brake force to the sprocket 2. A throttle control arm 11 serving as fuel supply control means controls the supply of an air-fuel mixture so as not to increase the rotation speed of the engine even if the throttle lever 10 is operated when the brake handle 10 is in a braking state.
