Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine capable of downsizing so as to improve the weight balance by improving the arrangement of a cell motor and a battery.SOLUTION: An engine work machine 1 comprises: a cylinder 11 with an axis line vertically extending; a crank case 15; an engine body 10 having a crank shaft 13 for outputting the movement of a piston 12 as a torque; and a carburetor 35 provided on one side of a surface passing the axis line of the cylinder 11 and the axis line of the crank shaft 13 (a vertical plane B1). A battery 70 used for starting the engine is disposed on the other side of the vertical plane B1 and below a muffler 30; and the cell motor for starting-up is disposed at the front lower side in the axial direction of the crank shaft. For arranging the battery 70, a fuel tank 36 is disposed on one side (the left side) while straddling the vertical plane B1; and a battery case 60 is provided below the muffler 30 for forming a battery chamber 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
