The engine 1 includes: a cylinder block 3 having a pressure reduction opening 40 opened in a cylinder bore 5 or a cylinder head inner wall surface 65, and a pressure reduction passage 41 connected to the pressure reduction opening 40; a decompression device 24 installed in the cylinder block 3, and having a first atmospheric opening 50 and a second atmospheric opening 51 communicating with the atmosphere, an air chamber 49 connected to the first and second atmospheric openings 50 and 51, and a pressure reducing valve 44 for communicating the air chamber 49 with the pressure reduction passage 41 and shutting off the communication by receiving pressure of a predetermined value or more in the cylinder bore 5; and a fuel supply device for start-up integrated with the decompression device 24 for supplying fuel in the cylinder bore 5 via the pressure reduction opening 40 from the pressure reduction passage 41.
