To provide an engine working machine that can be manufactured at low costs and with high degree of freedom in mounting design by restraining a temperature rise of pressure detection means for detecting a crank pressure.
An engine 10 having a cylinder 11 and a crank case 14, a muffler 16 is mounted to an exhaust port of the cylinder 11, and a fuel supply device (evaporator 50) is mounted to a suction port 24 of the cylinder 11. Pressure detection means for detecting pressure variation in the cylinder is provided inside a control circuit 46, and is connected by a pressure pipe (pulse passages 65, 66, a groove 67, a branch passage 73) whose one end is connected to a crank pressure source and whose other end is closed so that fluid cannot be exchanged with outside fluid, so as to detect the pressure variation in the cylinder. A pulse passage 65 for transmitting a crank pressure to a film valve pump is provided on an insulator 60, and is used also as one part of the pressure pipe for the pressure detection means.
