An intake device 16 includes: a first throttle valve 22 arranged on the upstream side of an intake passage 18; and a second throttle valve 23 arranged on the downstream side of the first throttle valve 22. The first throttle valve 22 is obliquely arranged so that a lower section c1 of a first valve plate 22a is located on the downstream side of an upper section c2. The second throttle valve 23 is obliquely arranged so that a lower section d1 of a second valve plate 23a is located on the upstream side of an upper section d2. Further, the second throttle valve 23 is opened, in a delayed manner to the first throttle valve 22 and by rotating in a direction opposite to the first throttle valve 22.
