Abstract:
To reduce the occurrence of defects to secure a good yield rate during manufacturing of a double wall structure exhaust manifold and thereby reducing the costs of an engine including the double wall structure exhaust manifold.
An engine 1 includes a double wall structure exhaust manifold 12 including an exhaust passage 71 in which an exhaust gas from an engine body passes and a cooling passage 72 which is formed at the outer side of the exhaust passage 71 and in which a coolant passes. The exhaust manifold 12 is formed so as to be divided into a body part 12a, which has an exhaust pipe 73a forming the exhaust passage 71 and an outer wall forming the cooling passage 72, and lid parts 12b, 12c which form parts of the outer wall.
