Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine including a reforming cylinder 15 that is a fuel reforming device capable of preventing deterioration of engine output by supplying reformed fuel in a stable state irrespective of a driving condition.SOLUTION: The engine 1 includes the reforming cylinder 15 for reforming fuel by reciprocation between an output cylinder 18 and a reforming piston 18. In the engine, at least one of the compression ratio and expansion ratio of the reforming cylinder 15 is changed based on the temperature of the reformed fuel discharged from the reforming cylinder 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
