Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of foreign substances during engine operation.SOLUTION: An engine has a pair of bearing metals 31 which is disposed between a crank pin P1 and a large end portion 28, and is butted with each other at end portions 31a in a circumferential direction; and an electric oil pump which is equipped with a discharge port communicating with an oil gallery of a cylinder block, and supplies a lubricant to the cylinder block. A crank shaft is equipped with a first oil path formed on a crank journal to communicate with the oil gallery, and a second oil path 35 formed on the crank pin P1 to communicate with the first oil path. While the crank shaft is stopped at a position where an opening portion 35a of the second oil path 35 and the end portions 31a of the bearing metals 31 oppose to each other, the electric oil pump is driven to discharge the lubricant from the opening portion 35a of the second oil path 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
