Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of preventing after-burn in operation stop with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An engine 1 includes a rotating member 50 rotating together with a crankshaft 10, a brake member 92 displaced between a braking position in which a friction material 91 is brought into pressure contact with the rotating member so as to brake the rotating member and a non-braking position in which the friction material is separated from the rotating member, and intake air cut-off means 100 for substantially closing an intake flow passage through which fresh air is introduced into a combustion chamber interlockingly with displacement of the brake member from the non-braking position to the braking position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
