Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in temperature of intake air in an intake port, and to achieve smooth fuel vaporization in the intake port.SOLUTION: An engine includes an intake port 3 and an exhaust port 4 connected to a combustion chamber 2 of the engine 1, a fuel injection valve 10 disposed in the intake port 3 and injecting fuel, and a partition wall 11 partitioning an inside of the intake port 3 into an upper port 16 and a lower port 13. A heat insulating material 12 is arranged on an inner surface of the upper port 16, and the fuel injection valve 10 is disposed in the lower port 13. An upstream side end in an intake flow direction of the lower port 13 is closed, and the partition wall 11 is formed in such a manner that a heat capacity per a unit area of the member is reduced gradually toward a downstream side in the intake flow direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
