Abstract:
To suppress generation of noise in a meshing part of a gear.SOLUTION: An engine includes a cam gear 21, a thrust metal 25, a crank gear 22, and an idle gear 23. At the cam gear 21, a first oil groove 61 facing the radial direction is formed. The thrust metal 25 is arranged adjacent to the cam gear 21 in the axial direction. At the thrust metal 25, a second oil groove 62 facing the radial direction is formed on the surface opposing to the cam gear 21. The crank gear 22 and the idle gear 23 rotate around rotation axes 22c, 23c which do not coincide with a rotation axis 21c of the cam gear 21. The idle gear 23 meshes with the crank gear 22. By the rotation of the cam gear 21, connection/disconnection between the first oil groove 61 and the second oil groove 62 is switched. When viewed in the direction in parallel with the rotation axis 21c of the cam gear 21, the direction of the second oil groove 62 faces a meshing part E1 between the crank gear 22 and the idle gear 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
