Abstract:
To provide an engine which enables an inner wall of an intake port to be heated efficiently and facilitates evaporation of a fuel adhering to the inner wall to improve start-up performance of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A premixing internal combustion engine includes: a structure part 202 forming at least an intake port portion 20a of a cylinder head 200; a heater 30 which is disposed so as to contact with the structure part 202; and a heat insulation part 100 which is formed by a heat insulation material having heat conductivity lower than the structure part 202 and is disposed so as to enclose at least a part of the structure part 202. Heat from the heater 30 is transmitted by the structure part 202 to heat the inner wall of the intake port portion 20a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
