Abstract:
To suppress occurrence of knocking due to ω tumbling, in an engine in which ω tumbling is generated in a cylinder at the latter half of a compression stroke in a predetermined operation state such as high rotation and high load.SOLUTION: An engine has a knocking determination unit, an injection device, and an injection control unit. The injection device is configured to be able to execute ω suppression injection F2 of injecting a jet containing a velocity component in an exhaust direction into a cylinder, at predetermined timing after the latter half of a compression stroke s2 and before ignition I is performed by a spark plug. The injection control unit controls the injection device so as not to perform the ω suppression injection F2 when it is determined that the engine is not in a knocking state, and so as to perform the ω suppression injection F2 when it is determined that the engine is in the knocking state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
