Abstract:
To provide an engine capable of suitably detecting abnormality of flow control of a bypass flow passage of a supercharger.SOLUTION: An engine includes an exhaust bypass flow passage connecting an outlet of an exhaust manifold and an exhaust outlet of a supercharger, an intake bypass flow passage connecting an inlet of an intake manifold and an inlet of the supercharger, an exhaust bypass valve V3 provided in the exhaust bypass flow passage, a main throttle valve V1 provided in a downstream side of a compressor of the supercharger, an intake pressure sensor for detecting a pressure of the intake manifold, and a control device for controlling the main throttle valve V1 and the exhaust bypass valve V3. The control device feed-back controls a valve opening of the main throttle valve V1 so that the pressure detected by the intake pressure sensor approaches a target pressure of the intake manifold, and controls a valve opening of the exhaust bypass valve V3 in accordance with an engine load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
