Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of reducing the dispersion in the volumetric efficiency of intake air for respective cylinders, and efficiently obtaining its output with low vibration.
SOLUTION: To a cylinder head 3 connected to a cylinder block 2 having a plurality of cylinders 1 each of which is provided with a center line OA on the outer circumference of a reference line so as to be nearly parallel with a prescribed reference line O, a plurality of ports 15 are formed so that one end 15a is communicated with a combustion chamber 14 and the other end 15b is opened to the end surface 3b of the cylinder head 3; and an intake air introducing part 4 communicated with the respective ports 15 for introducing intake air to the respective ports 15 is provided to the end surface 3a of the cylinder head 3 so as to be along with the reference line P O.
