Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of accelerating the solution of an accidental fire trouble even if it is equipped with a pre-chamber ignition plug.SOLUTION: Control means 3 is constituted to control air-fuel ratio adjusting means 11 for lowering an excess air ratio gradually so that, if an accidental fire abnormality is determined by accidental fire abnormality determination means 24, an excess air ratio at either the time point, at which cycles of the same cycle number till the decision time point of the accidental fire abnormality from the accidental fire stating time point have elapsed, or before that time point may be an excess air ratio set lower than the air excess ratio at the accidental fire starting time point.
