Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a new rotary engine, by arranging a roller in a conical housing where its two sides always touch circumferential faces of said housing to rotate further opening and closing intake and exhaust ports in the rotation of said roller. CONSTITUTION:In a housing 1 with an almost triangular cross section and with a conically shaped circumferential face, circular segment-shaped rotary unit 2 is contained where its two sides 30, 31 always touch the housing and rotate. Two drums 8, 9 are concentrically arranged at the lower part of said rotary unit 2, interlocked with a shaft 6 through levers 23, 7 and up-down moved with a phase difference to open and close intake and exhaust ports 16, 18 provided in the rotary unit 2. The rotary unit 2 that rotates dividing the housing 1 into two rooms 13, 14 is slidably contacted to a spherical can 37 at its lower part. Said cam 37 is interlocked with the shaft 6 through a lever 5.
